Sarah Sims

Sarah Sims is the Director of Accessibility at the Missouri Historical Society. She oversees accessibility across all visitor facing functions; the volunteer and intern programs; and professional development and training for staff. Her areas of interest are museum literacy, visitor motivations, and making museums physically, intellectually, and culturally accessible to all visitors and staff. Prior to her current role, Sarah held positions in K-12 Education at the Missouri Historical Society and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Sarah holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in Museum Studies and Art History from Case Western Reserve University.
