Lauren Monsein Rhodes is a research consultant and ethnographer. Prior, Lauren was the Senior Museum Education Manager at Jane Addams Hull-House Museum and an Assistant Professor in the Cultural and Social Anthropology Program at University of Latvia (LU), where she co-supervised the first museum education symposium in Latvia – Museums Revealed. Museums Revealed is now an active museum education organization and consultancy founded by former LU anthropology students. Lauren has also held positions at RISEBA Faculty of Architecture and Design, Weeksville Heritage Center, The Studio Museum in Harlem, and The Kitchen. Lauren has a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Washington, a MSEd in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a BA in Anthropology from Oberlin College.
